Past Projects
This project aimed to have Misha and possibly others from the SPN cast as guests at an Italian convention other than JIB.
WHY
Lately Misha, Jensen, and Jared, among others, are participating in various European conventions (Purgatory Con, Crossroads, Liverpool Comicon, and this year for the first time Scotland Comicon, Helsinki and Finland).
They used to enjoy a yearly trip to Italy for the JIB in the past.
Although the JIB has become iconic through the years, lately, things have shifted slightly downward.
Misha, for example, wasn't invited to the latest edition, with huge disappointment to his fans.
So we thought that having options would be nice, both for the Italian fans and the internationals, in case they still wanted to come here to Italy, just not in Rome.
HOW
We prepared a letter for the Lucca Comics director and staff. We politely asked them to invite Misha and the others to their event every year in late Autumn. Their staff replied pretty quickly with these words:
"Dear #aGift4Misha,
Thanks for the email, we are really pleased to read so much passion and interest from our audience.
We receive many suggestions and ideas. Supernatural is certainly one of the most loved series, and we are aware of the great success that the series and its protagonists have achieved.
As well as the certainly important impact it would have on Lucca.
In the past we have taken into consideration some actors from the series, but as often happens the planets did not align.
Unfortunately, at the moment this series and its protagonists are not in our plans for the 2024 edition.
We have just started working on the movie program, it is certainly early to say what we will do and who will be there, but we are working to bring as many surprises that we hope you will enjoy.

It was a mini hunt, Gish-style with
creative items as well as do-good and charity items
like Item 27 where we raised money for
an organization operating in Ethiopia
in support of disadvantaged families
against poverty and malnutrition.
In this group we have some very talented people
and we wanted to show it.
We made a calendar with some original art and
some selfies and photo-ops with Misha.

The Podcast
For the 2nd anniversary of Castiel's declaration of love and
The 1st birthday of the #agift4misha project group
We created a compilation of fanfics from our group members
and we had them recorded into a podcast for Misha.
It was HAND DELIVERED on 11-13 November 2022
at the Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Hotel & Spa "Salute to Supernatural" convention.
Misha's PBS tv show Roadfood inspired us
with this food-related project.
Food is a means to connect with people and convey love.
That's why we asked the participants to share their favorite recipes
and a snippet of their stories with which
we were able to create an international cookbook
unique in its kind.

Bees are fundamental, we love bees!
(And so does Misha, apparently).
We launched a fundraiser and raised enough money
to adopt 10 beehives in Misha's name,
then planted bee-friendly plants and flowers,
and volunteered at local beehives.
The evidence of our crimes was presented to Misha
on August 26-28, 2022 (HAND DELIVERED)

We love it when members of our group come up with ideas to
cheer our beloved Angel on Earth, Misha.
This time we wrote love poems,
committed acts of kindness, and
collected positive messages and
a selection of "roses are red" poems.
We had them all printed in a fancy book titled
"Something we still want to tell you".

@ the Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel & Casino during the "Salute to Supernatural" convention.
One of our lovely peeps suggested that
we created cute holiday cards to wish Misha and his family
all the good we wanted for him.
It resulted in 100+ lovely, heartfelt Holiday cards
packed in a big envelope and mailed to his PO Box.
